We look forward to meeting your family and introducing you to the teachers.

We provide child care Monday through Friday every week except for the days which we are closed as indicated here.
A daily schedule gives children the stability and security they need early on in life. That's why we strive to provide a stable framework that adds structure to our daily lives but also leaves plenty of room for spontaneous and additional activities.
Nap time is provided for younger children. Provisions are made for older children, or those who have grown out of naps.
Miss Rosanna has been with us for five years and teaches our pre-kindergarten four-year-olds. She also serves as Head Teacher. She brings with her several years of experience as a teacher and administrator. Her class structure and creative lesson plans more than prepare her kids for kindergarten, both academically and emotionally, and they have plenty of fun and play along the way.
Miss Antoinette has been with us for eighteen years. She teaches our youngest class of older two-year-olds and younger three-year-olds. She has a quiet demeanor and a structure designed to allow these young ones to grow in a more relaxed setting. We don't test the level of academic achievement at this age but the children are introduced to basic academics along with their daily crafts and playtime. They are more than prepared to move on to the next level.
Miss Alex began her association with our program as a parent in 2017. We established such a nice relationship with her that we asked if she would be interested in completing the required child development courses and become a full-time teacher. After a year of assisting all age groups, Miss Alex is now lead teacher in our young class.
Miss Zoie has been with us for two years. She began working in education in 2017 as a mentor for the San Bernardino City Unified School District, where she taught skills necessary to improve below average reading levels of students. Miss Zoie attended the University of Oregon, and continued her education at Chaffey College. Currently she is assisting with our kindergarten program, pre-school four-year-olds, and front door responsibilities in the afternoon.

Successful teamwork between parents and educators is important to us because it reflects on the child's development.
That's why we have a culture of teamwork at Ahrens Child Care Center. There is constant interaction between parents and educators as we plan excursions, common activities, and parties.
