Our Teachers

Alissa Jarrard (Head Kindergarten Teacher)

Miss Alissa is a graduate of Walla Walla University in Washington state, with a B.S. degree in Elementary Education and holds a fully accredited California Teaching Credential. She has ten years  of teaching experience with grades K-8. Her teaching curriculum follows California State standards for kindergarten and first grade readiness. Miss Alissa has been with us for ten years and is also a graduate of Miss Debbie's kindergarten ('89). Her classroom experience and training promotes a high standard which instills not only academic achievement, but also enhances a joy in the learning process.

Debra Armstrong (Asst. Kindergarten Teacher, morning Pre-Kindergarten Teacher)

Miss Debbie is a highly experienced and qualified teacher who has been with our schoool since we opened thirty-seven years ago. She taught our Kindergarten class for twenty-eight years.  We have been very fortunate to have her. She is a fantastic reflection and example of what we as a school have tried to provide for our kids and parents. Through the years we have had many former students enroll their own children in our program who remembered the acceptance and warmth of Miss Debbie.

**The following provides an outline of our Kindergarten Program.  As always, anyone with further questions feel free to contact John or Ms. Kay.  If you would like a meeting with Ms. Alissa, we will arrange an appointment.
